An lovely stay! The knowledgeable hosts provided a warm welcome and excellent service. Breakfast was a highlight, freshly cooked with diverse options. I enjoyed a comfortable double room, with a super bath. The local area offers lovely walks and amazing views of Ailsa Craig. Definitely coming back for more adventures!

very basic hotel with correct value for money. Rooms are nice, the restaurant is actually the pub (very small).Carradale is very Isolated but we realized there is a second hotel just accross the road, a few pounds more expensive per night but it offers much more (great restaurant, 2 bars, 1 lounge, 1 pub), we had a great dinner at this other place.

The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and the breakfast was good, featuring fresh selections. The outdated decor and minor issues like a shower in the bath could use improvement.

The two sisters were lovely, we feel like home!!!

The highlights were by far the food which was fabulous and the staff who bent over backwards to help and were very friendly. The room was quite small but it was clean and we had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Ashbank Hotel. The owner Tracy was very helpful and friendly as were all the staff. The breakfasts were great, really nicely cooked and kept us golfing all day. We never got to try dinner but we did see what others were having and it looked great. The hotel was right on a golf course, indeed our room looked over the first tee so ideal for a golf trip. Overall would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Machrihanish.

Good breakfast. Fine view from back window of Arran, Ailsa Craig and Kintyre coast. Very quiet area.

Room a bit small. The 20 mile single track road up to Kennacraig and Tarbert took some getting used to.

Cozy atmosphere with fine views

I enjoyed my stay, with amazing views of Ailsa Craig from my room and a cozy lounge perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The breakfast was really good, with locally sourced ingredients and a variety of options, catering to all needs. John and Sharon, our dining preferences were met without any fuss. The only minor flaw was the somewhat limited bathroom space, but it didn't detract from my overall experience.

A welcoming hotel in a delightful part of Scotland, running down Kintyre. The location was great for travelling down to the Mull and around southern Argyll.

The staff were great. Perferefectly adequate stay in a location where hotels are limited.

More accessible seating would enhance comfort for seniors.

Be sure to ask about the fully licensed bar for local gins and ales. It's a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely stay again.
